Our Housing and Support Service’s provide a comprehensive housing management services to over 1,300 tenants in social housing for older people and in a small number of mainstream homes in Edinburgh, the Lothians and Fife. The Support aspects of our services include supporting health and safety, sustaining independence and reducing social isolation.
We are about to embark on an exciting period of service redesign of our Housing Support and have created a temporary project team officer role to support and drive this project forward with a view to delivering a new innovative, creative and sustainable Housing Support service by April 2022.
PROJECT TEAM OFFICER
Fixed Term – June 2022
£28,538 per annum
34.5 hours per week
Edinburgh (office/home based)
Reporting to the Project Team Manager, you will be an integral part of a small efficient and effective project management team to deliver the redesign of our housing support service. This will include evaluating the current offering, job roles and experiences of those using and working within the services with a view to presenting redesigned service options for consultation with tenants and staff.
You will be expected to support and at times lead on high level tenant and employee engagement as well as liaise closely with our internal and external stakeholders on a local and national level.
You will be naturally customer focussed and have a ‘can do’ attitude to ensure that our tenant and employee experience of the service redesign remains positive.
The successful candidates will work with colleagues from a variety of backgrounds, applying an approachable and solution-oriented style and will be keen to support and drive the development of a positive working culture across Viewpoint, representing the organisation in all that they do.
To be successful in this role you will bring:-
- Extensive knowledge and experience of housing support services and the factors that impact on sustaining independence and housing for older adults.
- Experience of using your own initiative and proactively contributing to the effective delivery of service redesign.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a high level of organisational, facilitation and communication skills.
- High levels of ICT literacy with the ability to break down and present complex information to a variety of audiences visually, verbally and in writing.
You will be required to complete a PVG check and Viewpoint will cover the fee associated with this.
