Our new Rapid Rehousing Transition Plan sets an ambitious programme to achieve this vision and we are looking to recruit an individual with the knowledge, experience and drive required to manage the process.
South Lanarkshire is a diverse area and the factors which lead to someone becoming homeless are many and varied. Locally partners are clear on and committed to working collaboratively to achieve a step change in both preventing homelessness and helping people achieve the housing and support they need when it does occur.
Do you have:
- experience of delivering homelessness or housing services, initiatives or programmes
- a firm grasp of the policy and practice context in relation to homelessness
- experience of working collaboratively
- the skills and experience necessary to manage a complex and diverse project

We are looking to recruit a Strategy Coordinator who will project manage the delivery of our Rapid Rehousing Transition Plan. The Coordinator will be working with a diverse range of partners, liaising with senior officers, elected members, communities and a wide range of stakeholders to ensure that the actions set out in the plan are progressed and that the priority objectives are delivered.
The post will be Fixed Term for an 18 month period.

You will be eligible to participate in South Lanarkshire Council’s Car Pool Scheme as it would be advantageous to have access to a vehicle for business purposes if required to travel to alternative locations.
