Role: Temporary Technical Services Officer x 2 – covering maternity leave for 12 months

Grade:  EVH grade 7, spinal point 22 (essential car users allowance included + 45p per business mile)

Salary: £33,642 plus essential car users’ allowance of £1,414.00 and 45p per business mile

Where: Based in our offices at 39 North Vennel, Lanark, ML11 7PT.   Working with public health guidance and protocols we envisage a blend of office and home working as appropriate, based on needs of the business

Hours:   9-5 Monday-Thursday, 9-4 Friday = 35 hours per week

You will provide assistance with the running of Clydesdale HA’s planned maintenance programmes, including;
⦁ inspecting work, properties and external areas;
⦁ carrying out energy assessments, where qualified.
⦁ have strong contract and contractor management skills to ensure that contracts are delivered on time, within budget, to a high quality, and that at all times the welfare of our customers is the top priority.

As well as Planned Maintenance, our Technical Services Officers deliver
⦁ our reactive repairs, void and cyclical works
⦁ surveying and diagnosis as well as ensuring compliance with Health and Safety,
⦁ Gas Safety, Asbestos Management, Water Hygiene and Fire Safety requirements
⦁ manage a busy diary and react to the demands of a reactive repairs service.

A competence in using IT packages will be required with knowledge of SDM Housing being an advantage.

Ideally, you will have a HNC in Surveying or a similar field and level 3 certificate in domestic Energy assessment would also be desirable You should be committed to delivering excellent customer service. You must be a confident communicator, have good organisational skills with the ability to plan and organise your workload whilst working to tight deadlines. You must hold a full UK driving license and have access to a car.
