About the role

The Client Services Manager will have shared responsibility for client satisfaction and act as the main point of liaison between clients and Designer Software Ltd. This is a customer-facing role and the successful candidate must have strong interpersonal skills, pay attention to detail, be highly organised and be self-motivated.

As a focal point for clients, the Client Services Manager will: communicate new release functionality and modules; organise the scoping and delivery of additional services and projects; create and maintain marketing material. This role will require a close working relationship with Support Services, Technical Services and Development Team. The Client Services Manager will report to the Head of Client Services.

This is a remote role and will require travel from time to time to client sites, and also to our Head Office in Milton Keynes on a monthly basis. Working hours are Monday to Wednesday 09:00 – 17:30, Thursday 08:30 – 17:30, Friday 09:00 – 17:00.

Skills and Requirements 

Required Key Skills

  • Experience of Housing Management, Asset Management or Finance
  • Project coordination or management experience
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Effective written communication
  • Eye for detail
  • Highly organised

Desirable Skills

  • IT background or experience
  • Account management experience
  • Experience of using HomeMaster
  • Full UK Driving Licence

  • Be able to adjust quickly to changing circumstances, communicating effectively, contributing constructively and remain focused under pressure. 
  • Managing multiple items for multiple stakeholders simultaneously
  • Sound communication/interpersonal skills, with an ability to provide clear and timely situational updates to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Good personal skills: someone that is responsible, reliable, motivated, and committed to the role. 
  • You will act with integrity, and as a credible ambassador for Designer Software Ltd 

Package details 

  • £40,000 - £45,000 per annum based on experience
  • Annual bonus based on performance
  • Permanent role
  • 25 days annual leave
