Housing Officer

We are an innovative and progressive Housing Association, which is continually growing and currently have 928 properties in management. We are currently seeking an experienced individual for the Housing Services Team to help us provide a high-quality customer focused service.

HOUSING OFFICER – GRADE 5: £39,447 - £46,250

Reporting to the Housing Manager you will join the Housing Services Department, occupying a key role in the delivery of professional, effective housing services.

This is an exciting, varied and developing role and you should have experience of working within a front facing housing services environment with a firm understanding of legislation and current issues relating to allocations, estate management, rent recovery, factoring and dealing with anti-social behaviour. You will be actively involved in our community engagement work and support our thriving communities to meet their aspirations.

Excellent IT skills are required as well as the ability to organise and prioritise workload in an effective way, to respond and adapt to the changing priorities required in delivering a quality service. You should possess excellent communication skills with the ability to build and nurture internal and external relationships with customers and stakeholders.

You must have a minimum of 3 year’s Housing experience with relevant qualifications desirable and must possess a full clean current driving licence. A car lease scheme in operation.

Previous experience of working within a social housing background is desirable.
