The Role
Senior Housing Officer – Permanent - Falkirk
35 hours per week, Monday to Friday with option for hybrid/flexible working
Salary band HSB07
Salary: £46,371.00 - £52,637.00 per annum
Salary placing dependant on skills and experience
Use and access to personal transport (including full UK driving licence) or access to equivalent transport that would still enable you to meet the specific role requirements to travel is essential for this role.
About You
The Senior Housing Officer supports the Locality Housing Manager in the day-to-day operational management of the housing team.
The role involves supporting the work of the housing team who deliver the full range of housing services to over 1,500 tenants in the Falkirk locality. This includes older people’s services and tenants receiving support.
You will be passionate about housing and committed to delivering excellent customer services. You will have a good understanding of the work carried out by housing officers and admin staff in the delivery of all aspects of housing services. This includes rent and debt management, voids and letting activity, maintenance of our estates, complaints management and antisocial behaviour. The post holder will have an understanding of Scottish housing legislation and how it applies in relation to tenancy management and the terms of the Scottish secure tenancy.
This role reports to the Falkirk Locality Housing Manager
