A major research project is being launched to help find solutions to the issue of affordable housing on Arran. The study is being hailed as a milestone moment in the efforts to deal with long-standing housing shortage on the island.
A total of 18 new affordable homes will be built on the Isle of Arran by the Arran Development Trust (ADT) as part of the Rowarden Affordable Housing Project.
The Arran Development Trust (ADT) has moved closer to receiving an award of £3.6 million from the Scottish Government's Rural & Islands Housing Fund to help build affordable homes for local workers in Arran.
