AS Homes (Scotland) has unveiled plans for a new development on the site of a former church in Glasgow.

Construction workers at a Glasgow housing development had an unusual shock when they dug up bones, a skull and wooden coffins last week. The grim discovery of the human remains occurred at the site in Orr Street, Calton, on Tuesday morning.

Glasgow-based housebuilder AS Homes has secured a £12.2 million contract to deliver an affordable housing development at Orr Street in Glasgow as part of a wider redevelopment of St Mary’s church grounds in Calton.
