A housing development in a Fife village has been given the go-ahead after being reduced in size to ease capacity fears within the local school. Fife Council granted planning permission for up to 66 homes to be built at Nydie Mains in Strathkinness.

A housing development in Strathkinness has been recommended for approval by Fife planning officials but only if it is reduced in size. Stirling-based Avant Homes have applied for planning permission in principle to build 76 houses at Nydie Mains Road.
