Plans to build a housing development of over 100 homes on the outskirts of Aberdeen have begun. The development can now begin as Silverburn House, on Claymore Drive in Bridge of Don, which formerly housed GE company Baker Hughes has been demolished.

Aberdeen councillors will investigate plans put forward by Parkland View LLP to turn the site of a former city office block, Silverburn House, into a large housing development.
