Eildon Housing hosted a well-attended open day at its latest new ten-home development in the village of Westruther last week. 

Eildon Housing Association held its 52nd Annual General Meeting last week at the Weaving Shed, Dunsdale Road, Selkirk. The meeting was well attended by shareholders and guests.

To help decorate the Poynder Apartments in Kelso, Eildon Housing has been working in partnership with Art in Healthcare, which lends from its extensive collection of modern and contemporary Scottish art.

Derelict land on Duns road in Coldstream is earmarked to bring much needed affordable new homes to the local area.   Eildon Housing is withdrawing a previous planning application following its ongoing discussions with the local community and Scottish Borders Council.

Eildon Housing’s extra care services at Dovecot Court, Peebles and Wilkie Gardens, Galashiels had an unannounced visit from the Care Inspectorate in January 2025 and received high praise for the quality of their regulated care and support.

Eildon Housing has been awarded just over £147,000 to fund its OPAL Borders project for the next three years.   

Eildon Housing Association has received an £18.7 million funding injection from Royal Bank of Scotland to build new homes in the Scottish Borders.

Work is set to start on a development of affordable homes in Peebles, on behalf of Eildon Housing.

Representatives from Eildon Housing Association were delighted to receive the award for ‘Housing Organisation of the Year’ at the recent CIH Scotland Housing Awards hosted in Glasgow.

Eildon Housing Association hosted an open day on Friday 7 June to showcase its latest development built on the site of the former High School in Earlston. The new development of 64 high quality, sustainable and affordable homes, is a mix of family homes, lower and upper colony and cottage flats.

As the festival programme for this year’s Borders Book Festival officially launched, sponsors Eildon marked the occasion by spreading the joy of books across the generations.

Eildon’s former chair, Bill Wilkie MBE, sadly passed away on Friday 5 April 2024. Bill Wilkie joined Eildon Housing Association back in its infancy in 1978 and was appointed as vice chair in 1980.

Eildon Housing Association hosted an Open Afternoon event on Tuesday 19 March to showcase its latest major affordable housing development in Chirnside - Dominies Way and Dominies Road.
