Care provider ENABLE Scotland has been selected to deliver a new service supporting individuals with learning disabilities, autism and complex support needs in Elgin.

A new report published by BiGGAR Economics has revealed that far from being a burden on the public finances, the social care sector contributes more than £5.1 billion Gross Value Added (GVA) to the Scottish economy and supports some 300,000 jobs.

Pauline McDonald has been appointed as Wheatley Group's new head of care for the East of Scotland. The role will see her take the lead for Barony and Loretto Care services in Edinburgh, Falkirk and Grangemouth, Stirling, Fife and West Lothian.
