Proposals for student accommodation in Glasgow city centre have been given the go-ahead by the local authority.

Balfe Ltd has submitted plans to Aberdeen City Council to convert a city centre hotel into student accommodation. The firm hopes to change the use of the Travelodge hotel on Justice Mill Lane.
