A repairs and maintenance firm has been ordered by the High Court to pay Home Group more than £6.5 million following a breach of a contract.

Repairs contractor MPS has pulled out of a £10 million contract to maintain council homes on behalf of Angus Council after less than a year stating that the contract is "unsustainable" in its current form.
Angus Council has appointed MPS to manage the maintenance of council homes in the region.
Cloch Housing Association has announced a four-year contract with MPS. Previously known as Mitie, the new contractor will handle most of Cloch’s reactive maintenance and voids work across the social landlord’s stock of 1,390 properties and the associated common areas.
