Two affordable housing initiatives are among six community projects across the Highlands and Islands that are set to share £965,807 following awards from The Scottish Land Fund (SLF). Lismore Community Trust has been awarded £83,596 to acquire a development plot of land in the village of
Raasay Development Trust
Lochalsh & Skye Housing Association has just opened two new homes for rent on the Isle of Raasay. The Association homes sit alongside a further three provided for rent by the Raasay Development Trust. The homes were built on land provided by the Raasay Sheep Stock Club.
Construction work has begun on a community-led development of five homes and five self-build plots in the main village of Inverarish. Raasay Development Trust is leading the project with support from the Communities Housing Trust.
