Offsite Solutions has been awarded a £3 million contract to manufacture 588 bathroom pods for its third major build-to-rent neighbourhood for Moda Living.

Plans for a new residential and mixed-use development in the heart of Glasgow city centre have failed to gain planning permission.

A developer will be given the opportunity to convince Glasgow City Council of the positives of its plan to demolish the majority of the historic Wright and Greig Ltd distillers and deliver 182 build-to-rent apartments at 64-72 Waterloo Street.

A  new apartment block containing 20 two-bedroom homes is set to be built in Yorkhill at the corner of Gilbert Street and Teviot Street. Plans submitted by Surplus Property Investments were given approval by Glasgow City Council.

Construction work on Moda’s Holland Park neighbourhood, which saw Ryder Architecture appointed following planning approval, is well underway.

Planning permission in principle is being sought for a mixed-use development that could deliver up to 450 homes next to Dunfermline’s new £180 million super campus.
