Hundreds of people gathered to watch the demolition of three multi-storeys in Glasgow yesterday as part of a £100 million regeneration project.

Wheatley Homes Glasgow and demolition contractor Safedem have stepped up to help a struggling café in Maryhill.

The four tower blocks in Maryhill which are the subject of a £73 million regeneration by Wheatley Group will be brought down by an explosion next year.
